Participants in this very interactive session will understand the role and key skills of a facilitator including:

  • Pre-meeting planning to assess the client’s needs, establishing a set of meeting objectives and agendas, assigning roles, communicating to the team and other stakeholders
  • General facilitation skills: the concept of deferred judgment, divergence before convergence and basic methods for each, and basic conflict management techniques
